What are the terms for buying from Answersky?

Who sells Answersky?

You buy from Answersky, based in India (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@answersky.com.

When you pay online, you buy through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo Payments processes your payment, adds any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipt, so your card statement may show their name. Dodo Payments' Buyer Terms also apply to those purchases.

Done for you is not sold through online checkout. Answersky invoices it directly, through PayPal or Wise.

What does Answersky sell?

Answersky sells AI-visibility reports and monitoring. We ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, through their APIs with web search, and report whether they name your business, who they name instead, and which sites their answers rely on. A person checks every report before we send it. The apps can answer differently from the APIs.

A Full Report counts toward your first month if you start a plan within 30 days of getting it. Monthly: we charge nothing until month 2, then $49 a month. Guided: your first month is $69. Done for you: the $30 comes off your first invoice.

We only report what AI assistants say publicly. We never share another client's data. Guided's action pack is written by our software and checked by a person before we send it.

Currently we check ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. We may add assistants later.

Do you promise a higher score?

No. We don't promise a higher score, or that any assistant will name you. The assistants decide what they answer, and their answers change from day to day. A report shows what they answered on the dates it lists, and says how many answers it used.

When do I get my report?

• Quick Scan: by email within 3 business days of your request.
• Full Report: by email within 5 business days of your payment.
• Monthly and Guided: one report each month you're subscribed. Guided's report includes the action pack, and Guided also sends a weekly check. If you start without a Full Report, your first report comes within 5 business days of your payment.

Reports come from scans@answersky.com.

Online checkout isn't open yet, so the paid plans show “Available soon” on Pricing and can't be bought. Delivery times start when a payment goes through.

When do I get a refund?

• Late Full Report. If your Full Report doesn't arrive within 5 business days of your payment, we refund the $30 in full.
• Failed answers. Sometimes an assistant's API doesn't answer. If more than 10% of the answers in a paid report fail, we run it again for free. If the second run also fails, we refund you.
• Monthly and Guided. If a month's report doesn't arrive within 5 business days of when it's due, we refund that month. We don't refund part of a month when you cancel.
• Done for you. Invoices for work already done aren't refunded. If we miss a month's work, we refund that month.
• Declined orders. We may decline or stop an order (for example spam or illegal sites) and refund any unused part.

To ask for a refund, email support@answersky.com with your receipt. Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with.

How do I cancel?

• Monthly and Guided: cancel any time in the Dodo Payments customer portal (link in your receipt) or by emailing support@answersky.com. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for, then stops, and we don't charge you again. To be sure the next payment doesn't go through, cancel at least 48 hours before your renewal date.
• Done for you: cancel any time. Tell us before your next invoice, and your plan ends at the end of the month you've paid for. Most sites need 2–3 months of changes before AI answers start to shift.

What does Done for you include?

Done for you is Guided plus work we do for you. It is by application, starts with a paid Full Report (its $30 comes off your first invoice), and Answersky invoices it monthly through PayPal or Wise, not through online checkout. We don't take on two direct rivals in the same market.

• Month 1: we fix your pages, up to 6 hours of work. We make the changes on pages you give us access to, or send you a change list to apply.
• From month 2: we write 1 of the pack's 2 articles (with 1 round of revisions) and make 2 of its 3 listing requests or pitches, up to 4 hours of work a month.
• Listing requests and pitches go to sites the assistants already cite: free listings or editorial pitches. We never pay for placements. Each site decides whether to accept.
• You approve every change before we publish it, and we report the hours we spend each month.

What do you keep, and for how long?

• Reports: we keep your reports, free and paid, for 12 months, then delete them. Ask and we'll delete them sooner.
• Report links: if we send you a link to a report online, the link is unguessable and not indexed by search engines.
• Do-not-contact list: if you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your details, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we don't email you again, except to deliver a report you've already paid for.

Can prices change?

Yes, for new customers. If we change a price, current subscribers keep their price for 12 months, and we email you before any change applies to you.

Which law applies, and how much are we liable for?

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

Our total liability to you for any claim about Answersky is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
