How the check works
Enter your website, business name, business type and country; add your city or region if it matters to the people you serve. Add your email so we can send a copy.
We build these 6 questions from your business type and place. The brackets below are replaced with your details; wording adjusts for grammar.

The first questions ask for options. The later questions ask how a buyer chooses. We ask each question once on ChatGPT and once on Perplexity: 12 answers requested. An answer that fails is marked and excluded from the returned-answer count.
“Named” means the answer mentions your business. It does not, on its own, mean the assistant recommends or endorses it. “Cited” means the answer links to your website as a source. Your business can be named without a link, or your website can be cited without your business being offered as an option. The free result focuses on names; it is not a citation report.
What your result shows
Here is an illustrated example of what a Quick Scan result shows.
You see the result on the scan page when it is ready, and receive an emailed copy. It shows who was named instead, whether you were named on each assistant, an example question that left you out when available, and how the scan was run.
A missing example question is not an error: that section depends on an answer leaving you out. The result is evidence of this run, not a league table of business quality.

What this check cannot tell you
It gives you a starting point for those questions on that date. Answers can change with the wording, sources and run. API answers can differ from the consumer apps because their settings, context and search behaviour differ.
The scan does not show every question a buyer might ask, measure all customers' answers or promise a ranking. Being absent does not reveal why you were left out. Being named does not mean another buyer will see you.

Is the AI visibility checker free?
Yes. The Quick Scan is free and does not require a payment card.
Which assistants does it check?
ChatGPT and Perplexity. Each gets the same 6 questions once.
Do you need my assistant login?
No. We use API calls, not your account, password or chat history. The form asks for your business details and email.
How long does it take?
If your scan starts immediately, the result usually appears on the scan page in a minute or two. We also email a copy. If your request is queued or needs review, your report arrives by email within 1 business day. The minute-or-two estimate is not a deadline.
Why isn't my business named?
The scan cannot establish the cause. First read the question and check your business type and location. Then check whether your public pages clearly describe what you do and where you do it.
Is this an AI ranking or visibility score?
No. The free result shows whether you were named and who was named instead. A count describes these answers, not your position across AI search.
What did our study find?
On Oct 12, 2026, all 81 answers to the three questions asking for hiring options (questions 1–3) named businesses in our 162-answer study of accounting firms, law firms and dental practices in Austin, Columbus and Denver. The system prompt encouraged recommendations by name. The other 81 answers are excluded from this 81-of-81 finding. This is a test of prompted recommendations, not a forecast for your business.
